When it comes to Australian shopping sites, I place a great deal of stock in their level of customer care and support.  I think providing fast, friendly and courteous customer care is one of the most important aspects of a successful business.  If a place has the best products in the world but is not kind and helpful when I need assistance, I will usually not give that place my business.

 

Luckily, my experiences shopping online have always been good.  Of course, there has been a time or two when I have had to contact the customer support department.  I understand that when shopping online sometimes things happen and that does not upset me as long as customer service works to quickly solve the problem.

 

There was one time that I was trying to order some merchandise online.  When I went to checkout my shopping cart, I quickly learned that it was not accepting my credit card.  I knew I was typing in all the information accurately and that I had more than enough on my credit line.  And yet it did not want to take my order.

 

Of course, I contacted customer support immediately.  I was so impressed.  They got back to me within an hour.  It turned out that they were having a little glitch in their payment processor.  They let me know that other customers were having difficulty as well.  And I found that they were already working to solve the problem.  I am happy to say they resolved the issues within a few hours.

 

There was another problem I had one time when shopping online.  I do shop online quite a bit and so I am rather impressed that I have only had issues twice.  The second time I ordered a product and it was to arrive within 3-5 days according the shopping method I selected.  Unfortunately, it did not arrive.  I gave it a few extra days and still nothing.

 

I ended up going back to the website to contact customer support.  They were so friendly and apologetic.  Somehow my item had not gotten shipped.  They got the item out to me immediately.  They also gave me a coupon code for my next purchase from their website.  I was quite pleased.


When shopping Australian shops online I think you will find that you can always count on friendly and fast service.  All the experiences I have had when I needed help have been positive.
